Welcome to the beginning of all things August!

Hey guys. it’s Amy! YES, I know it says August. And YES, I know it’s September. I mean wrap-ups! Hopefully (if all goes well) we’ll have a read-a-thon wrap-up, book haul, and general wrap-up coming up pretty soon. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have SO MANY POSTS rattling around my head…. And yet, I have four windows full of tabs. FOUR. GUYS. THIS IS THE FIFTH ONE. I HAD TO MAKE A NEW WINDOW SO I COULD CONCENTRATE ON A POST. THIS IS BAD. VERY BAD. LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED, MY LAPTOP TOTALLY BROKE AND MY FRIEND HAD TO DELETE ALL THE TABS. ACK. ANYWAY, IT SEEMS TO BE FINE FOR NOW, BUT….

Last month, I discovered this AMAZING meme… Which is literally everything I’ve ever dreamed of. AND MORE. So I joined. (OF COURSE!) And I had so much fun! And then a few days ago a little notification popped up (as they do), saying that Yasmin @ Read Books and Drink Coffee had linked me in her August Library Checkout post. I did my flailing thing (because, I mean, THIS MEME EXCITES ME.) and therefore YOU SHOULD DO THIS TOO. I SHALL READ IT. AND COMMENT AND SEND ALL THE LOVE.

In any case, this beautiful meme is hosted by Shannon @ River City Reading. I take no credit for the amazing meme. Sadly. Anyway- I don’t have nearly as many this month as usual, because I’m trying to wean myself off of the library (HA) and just read a ton of the books I’ve bought recently, because it NEEDS TO HAPPEN. SOON.

I didn’t even realize how few library books I read in August until I saw the list! (STRANGE.) Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I’d love to hear if you join! There’s five more days for the linky for August, so plenty of time! What did you all read last month?

OKAY. ANNOUNCEMENT TIME. There is currently this VERY EXCITING THING happening RIGHT NOW. CALLED BLOGWARTS. GO CHECK IT OUT RIGHT NOW. I am (for some CRAZY reason) Hufflepost head of house, so if you are Hufflepuff, SAY HI. AND THEN GO JOIN. We’ve just started brainstorming/work/etc. today on the first task, and it’s already so much fun! Anthony is the Headmawkward Blogger, and this is such a fantastic idea. I’m so impressed. ANTHONY. WHERE DID THIS IDEA COME FROM. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS.

Alright, I suppose that’s it! At the moment, I’m just trying to learn to rebalance my time, what with school having just started, Young and Hungry season four coming out on Netflix, the new Gilmore Girls episodes coming, and BEING TWENTY BOOKS BEING ON MY GOODREADS CHALLENGE. HELP. As you can see, I’m a busy little bookworm. I shall not be eating nearly enough pages in the near future as is healthy. Oh well. Hope you’re all doing well! Wish me luck with all the tabs! Toodles!

    1. Oh, alright! It was good the first time around, but I really need to reread it as well. ๐Ÿ™‚
I liked it as a book, but I think it would be a lot better as a play, and I wouldn’t count it as part of the original series. Have you read it?

    1. YASSSSSSSS!!!
As for Siege and Storm, I had a ton of books checked out that were all overdue. So it wasn’t an option. But I also get super confused with The Young Elites and all of those books. I no longer know what I’ve read…. help
OH OH OH NO BUT I REALLY WANT TO!!!

    1. Hahaha awesome! I actually still have it; I’m a little nervous about reading it (it used to have so much hype, and now I don’t ever hear about it) but I think since you’ve said that I’ll read it next!
Eh, that’s alright- I liked it, but I wouldn’t call it the eighth book. It had its issues, and I think it would be better to see it as a play.
