Really? Tuesday again?

Since everybody’s telling me it was Monday yesterday, I guess it must already be…

Amy here! Let’s get straight to business today! 😉 TTT is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and head on over there if you want to learn more about this fun weekly meme! Today’s topic is… going to be hard because I don’t remember any quotes or words (unless the counts) right now! And that is a problem because the topic is…
Top Ten Inspiring Quotes from Books (anything that inspires you, challenges you, makes you think, encourages you, etc.)

“He was willing to try, to offer his heart to a demon, and I would not betray that trust. No matter what it took or how hard I had to fight it, I would not become a monster.” This is actually hand-picked from my current book, The Eternity Cure, which is the sequel to the first book we reviewed, The Immortal Rules:

Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t read The Immortal Rules, skip over this paragraph!
I find Allie and Zeke’s relationship so bittersweet. They are so in love that they are willing to risk safety to be together. I find it heart-warming that there are (well, hopefully-he’s fictional) people in the world like Zeke, who can look past what’s on the outside, and even actions, to find the true intent of a person’s heart.

“Tell me to live my life for myself, and not for you. Tell me not to wait for you to come back. I think that will change everything.” This is from Time Between Us, which I own and loved. It inspires me.

Sometimes we have to learn to live and enjoy what we have, and not spend all our time wishing and hoping for what could be. Everyone could use a reminder of this every once in a while. 🙂

The rest are quotes I have found online and wanted to share. Enjoy!

“I am quite illiterate, but I read a lot.” -Catcher in the Rye

“Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens.” -The Shadow of the Wind

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” -Prisoner of Azkaban

“I was born to catch dragons in their dins
and to pick flowers
To tell tales and laugh away the morning
To drift and dream like a lazy stream
And walk barefoot across sunshine days.” -Sunshine Days & Foggy Nights

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” -Winnie the Pooh

“When you are hurting in your heart, it’s no use even if the entire world asks you how you are feeling. All you need is to be held by someone who doesn’t need to ask.” -Lemon Girl

“Whatever happens tomorrow, we had today; I’ll always remember it.” -One Day

“Do not just seek happiness for yourself. Seek happiness for all. Through kindness. Through mercy.” -Wide Awake

And that’s ten! Hope you enjoyed this post. Leave me a comment with your link and I’ll check out your top ten quotes!
