I find Allie and Zeke’s relationship so bittersweet. They are so in love that they are willing to risk safety to be together. I find it heart-warming that there are (well, hopefully-he’s fictional) people in the world like Zeke, who can look past what’s on the outside, and even actions, to find the true intent of a person’s heart.

“Tell me to live my life for myself, and not for you. Tell me not to wait for you to come back. I think that will change everything.” This is from Time Between Us, which I own and loved. It inspires me.

Sometimes we have to learn to live and enjoy what we have, and not spend all our time wishing and hoping for what could be. Everyone could use a reminder of this every once in a while. 🙂
