Hey guys! It’s a few days into November, but I wanted to get this up so I’m not completely reading blind. 😉 I’m honestly not sure at all what I want to read this month, so there’s a lot of catch-up and a LOT of options. Let’s get started!
This month, I’m participating in Remember November, which is hosted by Kathy @ Books and Munches. Essentially, the goal is to try and complete the challenges that you signed up for at the beginning of the year… Of which I have many. Oops?
From Around the Year in 52 books, I have:
- Gemina
- Ruby Red
- I Am the Messenger/Stolen/Cry Blue Murder/Finnikin of the Rock
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
- The Mystery of Hollow Places
(The Mystery of Hollow Places also fulfills the November prompt for the Monthly Keyword Reading Challenge.) I really want to get these books read, as I’m super close to finishing all the prompts and it would be a fantastic achievement to get all of them! I only have a couple of prompts left for one of the Beat the Backlist Challenge scavenger hunts, so these two fulfill those:
- Switched
- Book of Ivy
And finally, I have a couple of other collective challenges for the month:
- United We Spy (Monthly Motif)
- Every Last Word (Reading Assignment)
For State of the ARC this month, I have a few old ARCs that I’m hoping to get to (and a couple that would be nice if possible):
- Loving Lakyn
- Alice and the Fly
- The Inconceivable Life of Quinn
- How to Murder Your Life
Lastly, these are some of the books that are on the top of my TBR and would be rather fabulous to get to this month!
- Scythe
- The Cage
- Ruin and Rising
- Game of Thrones
- The Thing With Feathers
- Wonder Woman
- Renegades?
- Warcross?
- This Savage Song?
- The Dark Prophecy?
- Raven Cycle?
- Sleeping Giants?
Okay, so I know I won’t get to all of these books this month. But hey, if I set my mind to it, maybe I can get a good few in! I definitely want to make the challenges my priority, but we’ll see how this goes. Wish me luck! 😉
Have you read any of these books? Thoughts? Which should I prioritize? I’d love to hear your opinion! Are you participating in Remember November, State of the ARC, or any of the yearly challenges I mentioned? What’s your TBR for the month? Let me know in the comments; I know I totally bombarded you with information, but I’d love to start a conversation! Happy reading this month!
I have 8 more books for this month to read, want to get a good head start into next month too. Heard some of the books you want to read, but it completely up to you. Or you could be weird and start a few of them.

Haha no kidding! I’m not sure I can either; I just wanted to give myself a direction so hopefully I can get to at least a few of these.

I also have a very ambitious TBR for this month! I’m planning on reading both Siege & Storm and Ruin & Rising, Renegades and Heir of Fire. Warcross was good and I really want to read Wonder Woman! All the best for conquering your TBR this month! 🙂

Haha awesome! YAY, glad we had some crossover! I read Siege and Storm last month and it took me a while to get into it, but I am definitely intrigued for the third now.
Oh yay! I’ve been hearing SO many good things about Warcross, so hopefully I enjoy that one. Thanks, you too! 🙂

That’s a hell of a lot of challenges you signed up for this year, haha!
It’s pretty early on a Monday morning and I can’t wrap my head around half the challenges – I do remember thinking the Backlist one looked way too complicated when I came across it a while back.
Quick read: WARCROSS! Definitely! I finished it in pretty much one sitting because it’s so easy to read.
Good luck and happy reading!
So glad to have you joining. 😀

I know right! I was totally insane. #regret
It totally is. When I first signed up, I totally did not expect to be able to get as many as I did. So I’m super pleased, haha!
Yesssss I’ve heard so many good things! I didn’t get to it last month, but I’m still hoping to pick it up soon.
Thanks! I had quite the time of it, haha!

I currently have.. three challenges for December and I’m going to keep it at those – I think.. I hope?! Unless there’s some 24 hour-readathon somewhere during the second half of December; that would be awesome as well, haha.
Haha, you’re welcome!

Hahaha that’s awesome! I’ve gotten a little burnt out from readathons, etc., just because I did so many in a row. I think I’m going to jump back in in January though, I believe the 24 in 48 readathon happens again about that time?

I love the challenges. I don’t necessarily focus on them, though. I mostly focus on my own monthly challenges and then try and see how many of my reads fit for another challenge as well, haha.
Just looked it up! Jan. 27-28, 2018!

I think I even put it in my agenda a while back so I could keep the whole weekend free, haha.

That’s awesome!! I hope mine is too, but my birthday is a couple days after that, so I may end up doing something for it that weekend. We shall see!

Birthdays are way more fun than readathons anyway! And since you’ll be getting gifts, you’ll be easily set for your TBR when the next readathon comes along, haha!

That is an ambitious list! Good luck and don’t burn yourself out 🙂 although sometimes it’s better to have a bigger open list – cause you can just sort of pick and choose.

Haha it totally was! I definitely had a hard time with that. I started the month with a slump…. But I still got a good few books read, so I’m pleased with that. Hopefully I can catch up from that this month!

No, not at all haha! I definitely didn’t get to all of these. 😉 I’m so glad to hear it! I’m hoping I can read it sometime in the near future.
Haha, the first book was fabulous, but I really need to get on the rest!

Yay! I ended up enjoying it; it was such a unique premise. I’m definitely curious to see where he takes the sequel.
Hahaha I definitely didn’t get to all of these! I had a good time of it though. 😉
