I Am More Happy Than Not Tag!

Thank you so much to Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks for tagging me! Way back in 2015, when I was actually tagged, I had not read this book. I have now though, and- I have no words. I NEED HISTORY IS ALL YOU LEFT ME. I NEED IT NOW. Moving along from that craziness…

I am more happy than not because MY BOOK ORDER JUST CAME IN YESTERDAY. EVEN THOUGH IT SAID IT WOULDN’T BE HERE UNTIL MONDAY.

I am more happy than not because I finished a book about dragons and it was glorious.

I am more happy than not because it is finally becoming cold outside at the end of winter…. But I know summer is coming.

I am more happy than not because I went to the library for the first time in ages!

I am more happy than not because I’ve been tagged for so many things in the past couple of days and I feel so loved.

I am more happy than not because my dog is almost completely recovered (she partially tore her ACL) and will be able to freely run and play in a week!

I am more happy than not because track has just started and running is AMAZING.

I am more happy than not because I am blogging again for the first time in ages.

I am more happy than not because I’ve started playing the piano again.

I am more happy than not because my hometown is gorgeous, the people are wonderful, the drama is hilarious, the corn is everywhere (well, not this time of year), and we don’t have rats (long story, don’t ask, not relevant whatsoever. But still thankful).

I am more happy than not because I have five beautiful best friends who I know I can count on for anything.

I am more happy than not because you guys are all so wonderful and amazing and always here for me.

I am more happy than not because my family is always there for me, and they always support me in everything I do.

I am more happy than not because my adorable puppy is EXTREMELY ADORABLE and fluffy and soft and happy.

I am more happy than not because life is beautiful, nature is beautiful, and people are beautiful.

I am more happy than not because there are people who are actually going to read this, because they are actually interested in what I have to say.

I am more happy than not because there are so many amazing books and movies coming out this year!!!

I am more happy than not because this summer is going to be wonderful and I am super excited for this next school year.

I am more happy than not because I do not want for anything. I am so lucky to not have to worry about things like food, shelter, or safety. So incredibly lucky.

I am more happy than not because I can be. Because I want to be. Because I should be. And because I love to be.

I am more happy than not.

Sigh. That was fun. Now I feel all smiley! (Slash sobby because serious flashbacks to the book) Aaaaaand because this tag is fairly old and I have no idea who’s done it and who hasn’t, I tag YOU. It is SO EASY to focus on all of the bad things in our lives, all of the things we need or want for. But there are so many good things mixed in, no matter how small! So if you’re reading this (and not shaking your head too much because yes, I know I’m a tad cheesy), I challenge you to write down what makes you more happy than not. Whether you share it with anyone or simply write an entry in your diary, I hope you take a minute to think about the things that make you happy.

Wow. Preach much? I suppose it is Sunday! Mayhaps I should have posted this on Thanksgiving? Oh well!
