Just a Little Healthy Competition!

You know what I love to do around the holiday season? Play games with my family! And you guys are family to me, so let’s play a game! To play you have to pretend you’re a toddler again. (NFA: Comma rebel…) Picture those golden, magical years. Don’t move on until you have; I’m serious! If you do, I will haunt you down and… Never mind, that’s not important right now since I’m sure you’ve all been good little angels. Ready! One, two, three:

Funny Peekaboo Puppy

PEEKABOO!!!!!!! Guess what, guys?? It’s Nikki, FINALLY!

And, Amy, but I’ve taken over her laptop and am not allowing her access. (NFA: That’s a lie! She didn’t exactly take it over… Just took it right out of my hands and began typing without my permission. Okay, she took it over. She’s finally letting me use it now.)

Technicalities.

Alright, the game was fun. (Admit it; you had fun.) But now we need to get down to business because Amy and I are currently at our family Christmas and we don’t want to miss any festivities… AKA FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!

(NFA: You guys must know us well enough by now to realize that Nikki without food does not exist. Neither does Nikki+food, because they are ONE AND THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, obviously that doesn’t make any sense WHATSOEVER. But if she continues to love food this much she WILL turn into it. Moving along… NIKKI GET TO THE POINT)

Notice how Amy hasn’t exactly been doing all that much other than criticizing my one true love. Ok, maybe not one true love, but I think it’s safe to say that all teenagers think of food as their lifelong companion. For those of you who don’t speak intelligent human being (dying language): Food is bae. Insert twenty million emojis here. (NFA: In my defense, you STOLE MY BABY LAPTOP!!!!!)

Because I love you guys, for your health I will try to stop being so darn cute and actually get to the point. (NFA: AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Nikki is so cute it makes my heart hurt.) Haha, that last sentence was actually from me; I’m distracting the bear (Amy) with Piano Tiles (NFA: HEY! I SAW THAT! You know what, I’m taking over!)

Amy has stolen the laptop back (Or, you know, Nikki started doing my hair… Aren’t we adorable?)! First of all, we would like you look around and note some of the bea-U-tiful changes to our blog. It’s not too much, just a couple navigation and formatting things that we thought would add to the overall look of our little pocket of the internet!

Speaking of “b-e-a-uuuuu-tiful,” Nikki here! Amy went up to get this monster’s baby’s charger. (NFA: IT’S MY BIG FAT BABY AND I LOVE IT SOOOOOOO MUCH!) Yeah, yeah. Speaking of babies, I got an iPod for Christmas (Already had a laptop; that’s why my posts are so great. Haha, kidding!) and it’s actually small LIKE HOW A BABY SHOULD BE! SO HA! (NFA: HEY! I WAS A FAT BABY!!!! WHAT’S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!?) and it’s amazing. But ANYWAY (for the millionth time), Amy and I have been working on some stuff on our blog that we think you guys need to check out! To make this shorter (That’s right; I still care about your well-being. 🙂 I shall compose a list:

  • Heard about our new fantastic meme and wondering what all the hubbub’s about? (I feel like I’m in a commercial! Boats! Boats! Boats!) Now you can easily access all of our posts concerning the subject from the new Recently Finished Friday button at the very top of our page! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! Go Amy!
  • Also new, the What’s Hot section to the right of the body of the blog is no longer based on posts viewed over the past few days. Instead, it’s now based on all time views, so you can see our post popular posts and see for yourself why they’re so popular! (Boats! Boats! Boats!)
  • So, earlier in the month, Amy found this cool linky-dink concerning teh subject of bloggers commenting back. So we feature one of their buttons on our page because we always make an effort to comment back when time allows. Stupid time! 🙂 If you click the button, it will take you to their page and you can find out more! (Boats! Boats! Boats!)
  • Alright, guys! One more thing! Promise! Sooooo, Amy and I didn’t quite like the boring, old black Bloglovin’ button just sittin there taking up space on our blog. Bleh. So, to spice things up we decided to create buttons of our own. That’s right, buttons plural. You see, we each designed very pretty buttons and we can’t decide which one we like better. So, we thought we’d like you guys decide!

Option 1: Amy's BB

Option 2:

Nikki's BB

We think they’re both beautiful, so we promise we won’t care if we lose! May the best button win!!! XD Toodles from Amy and See ya (hopefully) from Nikki!

And your meme sounds fantastic, and your Christmas sounds like even more fun. *keyboard smashes* dfdksfjldjf. And if we’re talking about the logos, I love the second one :))

            1. I’ve never really thought about it but my eating speeds vary depending on how hungry I am… So yeah, usually pretty fast. 🍽🍴🍽🍴 And I know right! (Formally known as the “ikr,” this is an another beloved Ameican teenage classic.) But sadly, we have no food. 😦

                  1. Well, my eyes (unlike yours) have hawk-like scrutinising power. Upon spotting grammatical follies, they immediately send me an alert. In case of strangers, the alert stays within myself, but when the person committing the error is a friend, I happily pass on the message for them to correct. Aren’t I absolutely the sweetest person ever, Nikki?

  2. Wow! You guys are hilarious. Food is amazing. So amazing in fact that my autocorrect decided to change it to ‘good’ four times before it actually registered the word food…

    1. Michelle, you are so great. I love you. You soooo get me. I’m home sick and am currently on season nine episode thirteen. Darren is horrible!! And thank you for that. Amy and I always a ton of fun writing those; we always end up in fits of giggles trying to figure out who is more adorable. LOL, I may or may not be lying.
