2015 Blogger Awards!!!???!!!

Hey everybody! It’s Amy yet again. For once in my life, I actually have two ideas in my head for blog posts! How crazy is that!?! However, the first has a tight schedule, so here it is!

So guys, (just gonna cut right to the chase here) WE GOT NOMINATED BY SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T EVEN KNOW US!!!?!!! How crazy is that, right? Well, I’m sure you guys are curious who this guy is! Anthony from aVeryAwkwardBlog (you can see the link for his blog if you scroll down a bit; he’s under funniest blogger) nominated us for The Blogger That Gives the Best Advice for the 2015 Blogger Awards! What are these mysterious awards, you ask? The 2015 Blogger Awards is an idea thought up by the Ambivert. How cool is that?!? Essentially, there are a bunch of different things you can nominate people for in the comments. I’m not exactly sure how she’s going to pick them, or if we’re going to vote or something, but I do know that nominations close on the 30th! To peak your interest, I will share with you all my nominations:

Blogger of the Year: I had such an incredibly hard time with this one, because I swear I love all the bloggers I meet. HowEVER, I think I will pick the person I usually like talking to, even though she’s taking a bit of a break (I still email her sometimes), and since I’m not doing any repeats, my choice is Bhramori from The Crazy Perfectionist.

Blog of the Year: I swear I love everyone’s blogs, but obviously when I visit one more often than some there’s got to be at least a teensy bit of a reason. Elm from Just Call Me Elm or Something

Kindest Blogger: Hmmm… I really think everyone is extremely kind in the blogosphere, but one blogger in particular I remember sending me an extremely long email explaining guest bloggers/ads that helped me out IMMENSELY, which she totally didn’t have to do. Christine from Christine Everyday

Funniest Blogger: This person I knew immediately when I saw the nominations. I have never actually had a conversation with this guy, but he can’t be too bad because he nominated Elm and (can you believe it???) us! I read his about me page and immediately busted out laughing. This one has to go to Anthony from aVeryAwkwardBlog

Best Photo Taker: Oh, I don’t know! I’m not sure I really know anyone that takes lots of photos… I once saw this blog that had some really amazing photos, but I never saw it again, and I have no idea where I found the link. Sorry, unknown blogger!

The Blogger Who Gives the Best Advice: Um. I really don’t need advice on anything (except that one thing Elm helped me with, but I already nominated her- sorry, Elm!), but I’m going to have to go with Jordan from Words… I Need Words… here because she helped Nikki out in her time of need. 🙂

The Newbie- a blogger who has recently joined but has a great blog up and running: I’m going to go with Em from LyfWithEm here because we have had a few really great conversations lately and even though her blog is just a few months old, it already has a ton of followers and it looks amazing!

Prettiest Blog- a blog that has been customized well: Oh boy! After much thought, I decided I want to nominate Jocelyn from 52 Letters in the Alphabet for this. I love a lot of layouts, but hers is one of the most organized and I think it is very pretty!

The Helper- a blogger who is really helpful: Okay, obviously I should have saved Christine for this, because I nominated her for KINDEST blogger because she was so HELPFUL, but I’m not going back now! I got this far, didn’t I? The most recent person that helped me was abOOkishOwl, with 2016 challenge ideas/help, so thank you! I don’t really know them that well, but I appreciate the help and quite honestly, I can’t think of anyone. If you helped me with something really long and confusing and you feel like the obvious choice for this, you have my most sincere apologies! I had too much to eat at the extended family Christmas today and my brain is all mush!

Most Optimistic Blogger: I knew from the start that this one would have to go to Mahjabeen from awesomeideas2003! It took a little bit of searching to track her down, as unfortunately we have not spoken in a while, and I couldn’t find her in our followers list, but I found her! She absolutely deserves this nomination because she is the MOST peppy blogger I know! (I mean that in the best way possible. Honest.)

I also wanted to nominate The Ambivert, but as this was my first time visiting her blog, I felt like it would be too impersonal and unnatural to nominate her. So I apologize for that! Also, please no one be offended or sad if I didn’t give a shout-out to you! It really doesn’t mean I don’t care about you. PINKY SWEAR!!! You have to believe me! You gotta!

Guys, I really loved doing this, because I love giving recognition to some of my favorite bloggers (See how I said some??? That means there’s more of you!!! XD)! I highly recommend that you all go and put you nominations in there. It’s worth your time!
