Butterbeer, shameless plugging, why Nikki is awesome, and more!

Hey guys! Believe it or not, this is not Nikki, (in case you’re new, it’s Amy here) because I have a fantastic reason for giving her a big head! I hope… Okay guys, let’s do da (day) ORDER OF ATTACK:

 

And by the way, that is NOT my hand. I made one for my brother haha. Guys, this is an awesome recipe! Seriously, I made, what is it, three glasses? Ish? (ALL WERE FANTASTIC) Okay, I’m going to show you two more mugs… And then I will stop torturing you and fork over the recipe….

Serves 2

Meal Type: Beverage

Misc Serve Cold

Ingredients

• Two 12oz Bottles of Cream Soda (not diet)
• 4 & 1/2 teaspoons Butterscotch Sundae Topping Syrup
• 1/2 cup Reddi Whip Canned Whip Topping

Summary

After visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Cici and her chef father decided to try to simulate the butterbeer as close as they could. Looks like they got it pretty close! Great job Cici!

Directions

Step 1

Measure 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Butterscotch Topping Syrup into each of the glasses or mugs (Chilled mugs work great).

Step 2

Add a 1/4 cup of cream soda into each glass and stire with a spoon until butterscotch topping in completely mixed in with the soda. Set Aside.

Step 3

Combine the Reddi Whip, the remaining 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of butterscotch syrup, and 1/2 tablespoon of cream soda in a small bowl until well combined.

Step 4

Pour the remaining cream soda into the glasses/mugs. Spoon the foam mixture from Step 3 into the center of the glass until it reaches the sides of the glass.

Step 5

You can enjoy this right away or let stand 1-2 minutes to get the full effect and look of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Butterbeer. Enjoy!

Before:

“What happened with the lights?” Sadie asked as their laughter died. “I dunno,” Mara said. “Maybe we should go ask Mrs. Snow. She might know.”

After:

“What’s with the lights? Sadie asked apprehensively as their laughter died off. “No idea,” Mara said. “Let’s ask Mrs. Snow. She might be able to help.”

DO YOU SEE NOW???!!!??? And oh my goodness gracious, I can’t believe I just shared my writing with you. OH MY GOSH I JUST SHARED MY WRITING WITH YOU I MUST BE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *hyperventilates* Let’s just move on before I have a panic attack….

Okay, for one, I really haven’t made any progress! I’m still only two books down, with a bunch to go. Why? Let’s talk television. HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER PEOPLE BEST SHOW EVER!!! If you missed Nikki’s post, she mentioned it. And the fact that we’re having a contest about who can finish it first. And I always win. OH YEAH!!!!! 😀 So… Basically I haven’t been reading lately. Or blogging. Because of HIMYM. But… After being absent for long, I realized the obvious- multitasking! I’m watching How I Met Your Mother right now, in fact. (TELLING YOU I LOVE THIS SHOW) ANYWAY! Hopefully I will be back to reading soon. 🙂

Also… I’ve been sick lately. Pounding headache. The works. 😦 Here’s to me feeling better, eh? Okay, I need to end this post now, especially considering the fact that this draft has been here forEVER!
