Daily Post #2

Alright, that’s an exception. But enough of the gifs. THIS IS SUPER TOTALLY IMPORTANT!!! What, am I yelling in your ear? Oh, I’m sorry. NOT! Haha. Okay…

Anyway guys, this is majorly important and actually super sad. It upset me. Very much. I just recently learned (start your pouty face now, guys) that Nikki believes you all love me more. Now, where did she get that crazy idea? Apparently hardly anybody liked her posts, and she didn’t get any comments. *looks pointedly at all of you* Now, I don’t know about you, but I think that’s totally not fair! (To judge how much you love her based on that) Everybody, can we (PLEASE) show Nikki some love? Pretty please? She needs it! Besides, she’s just as adorable and hilarious (if not more so) as/than me. I’m even going to make it super easy for you. Look, I’m adding links! Here is the link to her first daily, and here is the second. Please go check her posts out if you haven’t already! I promise I’ll still be here, waiting for you to come back. PINKY SWEAR!!!!! If you want to do it after my post, I will even be so kind as to make more links at the bottom. Everybody tell Nikki we love her and she’s amazing, kay? 😀

Moving on… (Temporarily- we can’t be sad this entire post!) I apologize for not doing a daily yesterday, but I believe I’m just going to not do dailies on days when we’ve posted a joint post. (I feel like that was a tongue twister… How odd) Also, I’m going to start copying Nikki (see? See how awesome she is? She always has the best ideas) and do a quote in my dailies. Wow, I’ve said dailies a lot. What is that, like, five? Too many. Alright, I need to actually get somewhere with this post now!

I’m currently reading The Brokenhearted by Amelia Kahaney:

I can’t honestly tell you anything about the book so far, seeing as I’m literally only on page 16. But I can tell you that it has a really cool premise, and I’m definitely excited to see how it turns out. However, I probably won’t get much time to read today, seeing as how I’m doing this post, and then I plan to start sifting through the gigantic pile of emails that we’ve accumulated. I’m not even kidding, I believe the nimber is up to almost 1200 now… yikes!

I just finished Seriously Wicked by Tina Connolly yesterday. It was actually quite good! Like I said in my first daily post, it was definitely not what I expected. I guess I expected the blurb to be more of a joke? But it really wasn’t. Anyway, to clear some things up for your future reference, Sarmine is not her adopted mom. The blurb says that, but it totally doesn’t display their relationship, which is very tense and forced. I did really enjoy this book, like I said, but just for all different reasons than I had thought. Camellia did not hesitate to cuss (not badly, but all the time) but I didn’t really feel like it went with her personality. As far as the plot goes, well, I loved it! I want to say it’s a cutesy story, but I’m not sure that’s the best way to describe it. Wow, I’m really talking in circles, aren’t I? To sum it all up, I would definitely recommend this book, but be prepared for a heartwarming read. Don’t expect too much on the bad side of things! 🙂
