You missed us. Right? Right? Right?!?

Well, either way, WE’RE BACK!!!!!!!!!!! In quite a few senses, actually. 🙂 1) NO MORE SCHEDULED TTTS FOR ME!!!!! Quite a relief, on my part, and hopefully on yours too (I feel like the scheduled posts just got more and more boring and routine as the month progressed. Ugh!). By the way, guys, I TRIED SO HARD to put in a TTT picture today but it just didn’t want to work. 😦 No clue why, seeing how the rest loaded without a hitch. I will probably just put in two for next week. 😉

2) We’re back from vacation! Woohoo! It was good until about the eighth day… Then I started missing my dog… And my bed… And all of you!

(No, we did not go to the beach…. I wish.)

3) Before we left on vacation, I was still a little out of it; I hadn’t been checking out all of your blogs as much as I probably should, but I’m back in my routine now! 🙂

That’s all I’ve got for reasons, but whatever. Hehe. I’m just so happy to be back!

Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read

Quite honestly, this is going to be easy. And then you’re all going to kill me because of it. Oh well. 🙂 All the titles link to their Goodreads pages this week!

1) The Fault In Our Stars by John Green –

I know, I know. *guilty face* … I actually own this book… Hey hey hey, you throw tomatoes at Nikki, not me! I don’t plan on getting you started, either! Anyway, I started it, but then the “surprise” death was spoiled for me, and I just never got into it. It might be infinity before I get to it. But hey…

Hehe. Maybe I’ll read it tomorrow, you never know. (By the way, I just noticed the quote on images, don’t get your hopes up too high)

2) Any and all of the Sarah Dessen books –

(I think there’s more than that, but I could only find ten per picture.) I – okay, I don’t even have an excuse here. I own Saint Anything and it’s simple in the fact that I just haven’t ever opened it up…

Poor, lonely book….

3) The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer –

Do I even need to explain? I actually have never even touched these books, I was never interested in the genre when people were liking it. I get that some people loved this series, but the amount of people that have told me it was awful and they wish they could unread it (and yes, this group includes my most powerful opinion- Nikki) far exceeds the group that loves it unconditionally and cannot fathom someone who wouldn’t enjoy it. So, sorry to all of you out there who enjoyed this series!

4) The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins –

This series is actually quite intriguing to me; I actually want to read it. However, every time I get a copy, it becomes immensely difficult to walk over to my pile and pick it up…. I know, lame excuse.

5) The Maze Runner by James Dashner –

(Are there three or four books in the series? I can’t ever remember….) Same as the Hunger Games. I’m pitiful. But hey, the movie was really good; I saw it in theaters!

6) If I Stay by Gayle Forman –

Um, never had any interest. I don’t even know what it’s about!

7) The Wrath and the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh –

Don’t get me wrong, I plan to read this one! I just haven’t gotten my hands on it yet… But you wait; once my grubby (sparkly clean) little (huge for my age) fingers touch the cover I’m OFF! And there is nothing you can do to stop me! I mean, come on, just look at this Goodreads excerpt:

I read The Young Elites by her and absolutely LOVED it, but I guess I just never put any thought into this series! Maybe I’ll get around to it someday. 🙂

9) I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson –

I went on vacation. When I came back, it was due. See, I do have an excuse here!

10) Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson –

I absolutely LOVE that I can include this one on here. *pleased giggle* You see, it’s in transit to my library, so… It should be there shortly. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to read it. Now what’s this about Second Chance Summer? I’ve never heard anything about it before, and in just now seeing it on my picture… Anyone know anything about it?
