Top Ten Tuesday!

Amy again! Top Ten Tuesday is a fun meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is… (Drumroll everybody)

Top Ten Books On My TBR For Summer 2015

Hmmm… Come on, guys, how am I supposed to respond to that? I can’t pick ten over all the rest. *wiggles eyebrows* Alright, then, I’ll just pick the first ten I think of- but I promise they’re not in any order! Also, since this is scheduled, I’m picking ten I hope to read now (end of May), so I may have read some of these by the time June 16 rolls around…

1) Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson –

I ended up seeing this book on SO many TTTs the week of the 27th. So many that I looked it up and added it to my TBR! It sounds like the perfect summer or beach read. 😉

2) The rest of the Harry Potter series! (By J.K. Rowling, of course!) –

When I was younger, my mom didn’t want me to read these books… As a result, I’ve only read the first few.

3) The Cage by Megan Shepherd –

I saw this book on Epic Reads and it looked really good! I’m very excited to read it.
4) To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han –

Nikki insists that I read this, so… Yeah. Speaking of this book…

5) P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han –

I can’t read the first book and not the sequel! 😉

6) The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West –

I also found this one on Epic Reads! In case you haven’t noticed, I love that website. 😉

7) Between Us and the Moon by Rebecca Maizel –

Another from Epic Reads! Does anybody know what it’s about? Yes, really…

8) A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray –

Another Nikki “suggestion” A.K.A. command. 😉

9) Across the Universe by Beth Revis –

I’ve had this on my TBR forEVER. I believe it’s a romance… Right?

10) Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge –

I believe this is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I don’t really care, though- I was sold when I looked at the author! I loved Crimson Beauty. 🙂

And the bonus – The Heir! (By Kiera Cass, of course)

I ordered this book May 4!!! (One day before it came out) However, Amazon says it probably won’t get here until June 22ndish! That’s not cool. :-‘(

Well, guys, another week gone by. Enjoy your summer, or it’ll slip away from you! At the start, it feels like you have so much time ahead of you. But it goes fast… I wouldn’t bet on my time! 😉

A Later Note: I have, actually, read To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. It was so good I need mooorrrreeeeeee! I almost died when I found out my library doesn’t have the sequel. I will definitely be purchasing a copy of that and reading it over the summer! As a very excited young girl once said to her best friend Nikki, FEELS MAN FEELS!!! What did you guys think about this book?

  1. I love your TTT banner. It’s so simple and cute! I hope you like Since You’ve Been Gone, I just finished reading it. I thought it was good. Ha, my mom didn’t want me to read Harry Potter books either. I just finished the series this past year! It was amazing! I agree with Nikki! You should really read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! If you like fairy tale retellings, A Court of Thorns and Roses is also a Beauty and the Beast retelling and it’s amazing. The Heir also made my list! Here’s my TTT if you’d like to check it out!

Awesome summer reading list. Since You’ve Been Gone was good, but To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S I Still Love You were amazing! I also want to read a few books in this list.

  3. Ooh you must read Harry Potter as soon as possible! Also, The Fill-In Boyfriend & A Thousand Pieces of You are great books, I hope you enjoy them. And P.S. I Still Love You is a great sequel, although I have to say I enjoyed the first a bit more. The Heir was another enjoyable read, although the main character kind of got on my nerves. Anyway, great list, hope you have a happy reading!
